Can. Light golden color and white foam. Weak aroma, malt and hops, a bit metallic. Taste: clean and watery, weak hops and malts, cardboard, so-so.

Perfectly clear golden coloured body with a perfectly crisp, pure white head, that starts at about 2 centimetres tall that goes up to a nice layer when left alone for a while. Aroma of grass, crisp grain, a dose of yeast and hay and some very subtle sugars with wheat and just about nothing else afterwards - this is super mild. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and herbal flavour that gives way immediately to show some yeast and sugars, with a touch of honey, but mostly just pure water here - not much of anything, but it goes down very easily. Aftertaste shows the hay, mellow malts, grass and a light dose of sweetness, all from caster sugar with nothing else behind except for some fresh and clean, easy-drinking pure water. Overall, a fresh and very easy-drinking pilsner without much flavour, which may or may not be a good thing - depending on what you want and are looking for - given the hot days of Winter in French Polynesia, I'm happy to have an easy-drinking beer, but this may be a bit too mellow. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from Super U, Are, in PaoPao, Moorea, French Polynesia on 30-July-2019 for XPF285, sampled a day later back on the 'main' island in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia on 31-July-2019.

Danke an Dorin. Süß herber, wenig hopfiger Beginn. Etwas getreidig, wässrig, kurzer Abgang. Meh. 7/6/7/6/5/6

Kupljena negdje u francuskoj.

Canned(500ml). -From some shop in Munich (who knows where?!)
Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, malty and light chocolate nose (?!). Very malty taste with slight notes of chocolate and caramel. Spoilt can??? BBE: Sep. 2008.

0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a nice golden colour with a medium sized head that went away at a medium pace. Lively carbonation. The nose is odd... malt, weak notes of... chocolate? Hm. The taste is odd... malt, alcohol, pears... wtf.... maybe weak chocolate again, almost no hop. Not nice. A bit better than the sum of its parts but in the end it just isn’t good. And a pils? Puh-lease.... I’m probably overrating this a fair bit.
