0.5l can. This is a crystal clear, almost completely transparent and blank cider with perhaps just a hint of green in it and it has no head. Smells sweet and apply with a hint of ripe pears. Tastes really, and then I mean REALLY sweet. Almost like drinking sugar syrup. Not for me so I gave it to the toilet.

Bottle from Haymarket Bar. Pours pale lime with gentle bubbles and no head. The nose is lucscious over-ripe pear. The taste has more luscious over-ripe pear. The palate a big structure, a thick texture and a fresh finish. Overall, an excellent experience - the structure defies the low alcohol levels.

2/10 0.5 l can courtesy of Marko, thanks! It poured very pale body with small head that disappeared immediately. Artificial flowery perry aroma, too cloying already. Ironically, it’s watery, but too sweet, sugary and syrupy with shorter finish that is, you guess...sweet sugary! While I don’t understand why people produce such things, I can only say it’s the worst of already bad perries I’ve tried!

Can from some 7-Eleven at the Copenhagen airport (yeah, I know, I fail for paying that much there for this), shared with heavy. Poured a very pale yellow body (as I said, clear touched with yellow. Sweet sugary pear candy nose, not inherently ugly. The taste continues along the same route, staying sweet but adding light acidity. Typical, too sweet and candyish.

Bottle at Chris’ Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia tasting. Very very aple gold, thin white ring of bubbles. Sweet, kiddie sweet aroma, so artificial. Some pear sweetness in mouth. Mostly child sweets, not great. But not totally awful.

50cl can at home. pours a sparkling pale light yellow, some carbonation, small head. sugary sweet aroma, a little eggy, a little pear. flavor is fresh pear, some citrus, lots of sugar. far from as bad as i had feared, the citrus yields some freshness. it’s carbonated as a sodapop which makes it directly difficult to drink it. if only they had not added all that sugar. reminds me of sweet/sour candy.
