(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Reddish brown colour with frothy, pale brown head. Malty, spicy nose with caramel, brown sugar, dark bread and hints of herbs. Malty, herbal taste with notes of caramel, brown sugar, raisins, dark bread and a Jägermeister-like bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, quite sweet. The sweetish herbal touch is kept fairly balanced, making it quite tasty. Interesting and quite nice.

Bottle from a Rimi store in Tallinn. Quite dark brown-red body, very small off whtie head. Odd salty herbal and malty nose. Light sweet taste, herbal and unique like that, very light bitterness (could use some hops). Not brilliant.

500ml bottle brought back home by Stefan and Elisabeth for sharing, thanks. Initial medium- sized, off-white head that fades slowly over a deep, dark brown body. Sweet dark malts in aroma. Dark malts, brown sugar, honey and cardamom herbs in the flavour character that gets quite syrup-like on the swallow. In other words, too sweet (Estonian rating session, Tromsø 27.10.2009).

500ml bottle brought from Tallinn to our Baltic Beer session 27.Oct.09 in Tromsø. Mahogany body. Malty nose, with some alder, molasses and cardamom. The taste reminds of ginger snap dough. It is a bit slick and sirupy, with a sweet and chrismassy seasoning that is noticeable in aroma, flavour and finish.

Bottle (@Olutkellari Helsinki, BB 09/2009). Dark ruby color, small creamy head. Grassy hoppy, bitter liquer aroma. Semi-sweet flavor, some "Jägermeister", herbal caramelly flavors. Sweet finish. Cold and uninspiring.

50 cl bottle thanks to SaintMatty! On April 11, 2009. BB 05 09 09. Clear dark brown color, tan head. Herbal, sweet, sugary, alcohol scent. Sweet, herbal, artificial cherry taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges and a foamy head. Malty, grassy and slightly musty aroma with a herby element. Sweet tasting with fruit and herbs being detected with the herbs giving the finish a bit of a kick. Not bad but I am not entirely convinced that the herbs are natural. This beer is reminiscent of one of the beers sold in Olde Hansa restaurant, Tallinn.
