Ausgewogen. 7/9/9/9/5/9

clear brown colour, medium sized dense beige-ish head; aroma of chocolate ice cream, hints of dried figs, rye bread and ash; taste of rye bread, mild roasted sugary sweetness, hints of cocoa and mild dried fruitiness; surprisingly enjoyable especially considering its price

Can, 0.5l. Pours clear dark ruby body with medium sized off-white head, quickly diminishing. Smell is malty, yeasty, very slightly roasted. Thin body with watery texture, avarage to high carbonation. Bittersweet malty taste. Aroma is malts, yeast, grains, a bit roasted, hint of caramel. Too much metallic acidity, especially in the finish, making it slightly unpleasant. Overall, for the price it’s drinkable, but otherwise very mediocre.

Can from Lidl. And drunk at home. Black dark ruby colour lasting tan head. Aroma is not too bad but the flavour is really quite odd. Some plum cake. Some chocolate. Some malt loaf. Plums. But dirty too. Odd but ok if you take your time over it. Better than a bra fitting at Bentalls. Actually it settles down into a coffee choc plum decent schwarz. So give it a break. It’s a lot better than i was expecting and if i bought this in a Rewe in Franken i would say it’s drinkable but lacking a little character. Although it does have some character. Oh i don’t know anymore make your own mind up. Tis good value in the UK though.

0.5l can from local Lidl. Malty aroma wit caramel notes. Dark brown color, no head. Malty taste with caramel notes and some coffee traces. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation and light bitter finish with coffee notes. Average.

Kupljeno u Lidlu. Kao Festbier Schwarzbier. Čak je i vrlo solidno. Nije preprazno. Ima nešto i ugodne gorčine.
