Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Ariel’s friend! Clear amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel, hops, slightly citric and slightly skunky. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, a toasty hint, and bitterish hops, a bit citric. Medium-bodied. Easy-drinking.

As Red Ale, a surprising, accidental find by Karlo at Pivni Galerie, thanks for sharing! Darker orange-amber body, not that red. Candyish, slightly herbal yet yeasty aroma. Not too yeasty in the aroma, but more so in the taste. Sweetish taste, slightly herbal again, but with notes of beets too. No bitterness. Not thrilling but more or less passable. For 30ish crowns, a relatively good choice.

Bottled, from Norman, St. Petersburg. Hazy amber, small head. Buttery nose. Medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Mildly roasty, caramelly with some milk and cellar tones. Somewhat oily. Alive and interesting, although somewhat imperfect.

1L Bottle from the tap at the brewpub - Thanks Omhper - Amber with lively carbonation and a small head. Maple syrup, dried fruit, caramel and a hint of spice in the aroma. Malty, fruity and slightly metallic taste with notes of toffee, nuts and dried fruit. Not bad.
