Can from some Levoca Market on Spisska Magura. radlerek mocno cytrynowy, lemonkowy, slodzikowo potraktowali te kwasnosc. apteczne, witamina C, metnawe, zoltawe, z mizerna piana, brak ciala, niczym Domme Kyaa. Taka woda z sokiem cytrynowym z dorzuconymi slodzikami i kilkoma tabletkami witaminy c. coz jak radlerek, nie jak pivo.

Sep. ’16. A 0.5 l can that poured a clear darker yellow body with a small, short living head. Aroma was rather weak, some fake soda with touch of grain used on their other beers. Sweet flavor, you can imagine lemon drops but that’s stretchy. Very watery and thin, although overcarbonated with just a sugary finish that also, as it always happen in genuine examples like this, showed some bitterness from artificial sweeteners. Just wonderful.

Već dugo nisam pio radler. Ovaj ima jako svjetlo žutu boju. Pjena, odnosno sapunica je vrlo brzo nestala. U okusu ima nešto umjetnog okusa limuna i nekakve umjetne gorčine u aftertasteu. I vodenasto je. Bezveze i niškoristi.

Pours clear pale yellow color with soapy white head. Faint smell, classic lager with a bit of lemon. Thin body with soft carbonation. Slightly bitter on tongue with sweet aftertaste. Aroma is faint and watered down, malts and yeast mixed with lemonade. A bit of, ugh, cardboard mouthfeel. Artificial and industrial, a bit metallic. Overall, meh. Low price is the only reason why someone would buy this.

Can @ Sirmione, Lago di Garda. Pours pale yellow with a fading white head. Aroma of malt, light artificial and light bitter lemon. Flavor is malt, light corn, lemon. Thin to medium body, average carbonation. Not as sweet as many radlers. 110815

Deutlicher Zitronengeruch. Im Antrunk dann pure aber laffe Limonade, schmeckbare Süßstoffe. Daher auch dumpf, dabei wirken Zitronen- und Limettennoten noch durchaus nett. Kein Bier, langweilig. 5/3/3/4/6/3

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko (thanks!). Yellow coloured, big white head, dusty lemony nose. Acidic lemony and slight grainy with notes of cardboard in the finish. Quite sugary also.

Canned 500ml. -from Match West End, Budapest. White wine coloured, medium sized distinct white head, usualy radler nose. Weak lemony/lime taste with some weak cereal notes in the background. Rather mild and not so sweet finish. 2/4/3/1/2.5

0.5l can for 6kn. Eh. Paaaale clear golden body with a huge white (likely chem) head. Sticky as f*ck fake sweet dusty lemon aroma. Taste... weak mess, clash of sugary sweetness and bitterness, some aspartame?, cardboard and empty, vague fake lemon. Terrible grainy notes break through too. Almost everything a radler shouldn’t be. 4/2/2/4/1

Zähringer Lemon. Now, supermarket radlers are rarely worth not drainpouring. Like the new K Plus ones, brewed at Laško - quite good examples of what a radler should be. Not overbearingly sweet, slightly tangy to help the drinkability, not that fake, and possibly not loaded with artificial sweeteners (though I might be wrong on that one). Heck, even most regular radlers fail at most of those points. But seeing this can, seeing where it’s brewed, you just know it’s going to fail. The design is nice ’nuff, mind, but it’s a cheap German radler. And those are NEVER good. This lovely example of wasted ingredients poured a yellow-orange??, clear body with a small white head. The stale fake lemon aroma starts to waft and you’re left wondering why on Earth did you take up this hobby, but a hint, just a hint of tartness pushes through, promising that it might not be that baad. Just might. And then you taste it. And suddenly, the lemon’s gone. Sugar water. Damn sugar water. Like what some drink when they have the hiccups. Only carbonated. Wow. How the hell did they achieve that? 2/3/2/4/1.5
