Borefts VIII. Day 2. Train rate on way back to Leiden. Thanks whoever fished this one out! Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth malts, caramel - toffee. Dry spice, chilli starts to build. Dry finish. Spicy linger. Oh good - another chilli beer! Gah!

Bottle shared. Clear brown, small tan. Aroma of malt, caramel, cardboard and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a chili warmth in the finish and soft carbonation. [24-09-2016]

Bottle on train from Bodegraven. Dark brown cola coloured. Chocolate malt. Aroma. It has some chilli in it . Chilli porter. Ok not my style.

Bottle shared with Joes. Opaque dark brown to black color, average to medium sized beige head. Aroma a bit faint, lightly malts, lightly roasted malts. Taste malts, lightly roast, a hint of sweetness, sweet dark candy sugar and indeed a mild chili burn in the aftertaste in the back of your throat. Solid beer but really not my thing.

Barwa brunatna, przejrzyste, piana jasnobeżowa, dość obfita i trwała. W aromacie czekolada, trochę orzechów i karmelu, generalnie słodko. W smaku spora słodycz, czekolada, karmel, lekka kawa, papryczki mocno dają o sobie znać, mocno piecze w przełyku, po pewnym czasie jest to już męczące i przykrywa nieco inne nuty. Goryczka niska do średniej, dość niskie nasycenie, niezła pełnia, gładka faktura. Nie jest złe, aczkolwiek niezbyt dobrze zbalansowane.

50cl bottle. Pours clear dark reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of dark malt, red fruits, wood. Taste of mild roasted malt, sweet chocolate, red fruits, hot chili palate!
