On tap at Hop In Zagreb. Unclear darker amber coloured, medium sized beige head, mild malty nose with whiff of smoke. Toasted malt, light caramel, mild smoke, touch of spices (not chilli) and some herbs in the finish. Really discreet chilli presence. Pitty for that but otherwise quite pleasant brew.

Unclear, reddish amber colored, medium- beige head. Aroma is of smoke, malt, some caramel, bit bready and some chilli. Taste is medium- sweet malt, caramel, smokey notes, doughy, chilli with some spicy heat, light+ bitterness, light smoked chilli aftertaste. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation, bit watery. On tap at Hop In. Poured a murky amber-brown body with a tiny but lasting off white head. Aroma... toasty, sweetish maltiness, some dried fruits, mostly malt driven, nice, but without any smoke or peppers thus far. Taste... pretty flat, light bodied, dominant notes of lightly smoked sweet peppers, more paprika-like than smokey for me (could barely detect some and nothing with 100% certainty). The heat is quite light for me - my tolerance is pretty high so I cant gauge how it is for most people, but there wasn’t much of it all in all, which really isn’t to be taken against it - I mean, do you want your palate to be battered after a single, light beer? I’d call it well-incorporated. It’s certainly a unique beer, at least for these parts, and not a bad drink really, but the carbonation, or a lack thereof, played against it here. Solid beer, even if it’s not one of their best.

On tap at Hop In, Kanal, Zagreb. Murky dark amber, small off-white head. Chilli, peppers, light cocoa or chocolate, malts and caramel, light smoke. Taste is sweet with notes of pepper sweetness, not hot, but blends well with light smokiness. Medium body, soft to medium carbonation, soft texture, very nice mild spicy finish, good use of peppers, very interesting style. Not for everyone, but I like it. I’ll give it a boost for trying and mostly succeeding!

Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana as a smoky amber lager. Ambrée, trouble, col beige. Arôme au nez malté, ambre, touche de caramel avec un léger rétro de malt fumé, le tout fonctionne très bien et est balance par une petite touche d’amertume, possible de houblon Slovène. Palais est malté, ambre, cara avec un effet de Bamberg ajoutant ce petit plaisir de fumé qui n’est cependant pas trop dominant ni dérageant. L’effet lager se ressent bien au niveau de la levure et est complété par le bon caractère de fumé.

On tap at FishFest. Pours a dirty hazy brown, topped with almost no head. Very gentle malty aroma, just some caramel in the back and that’s it. Mild bittery start with some pleasant chocolate malty back that extend into short aftertaste. Slight herbal after. Light body, very watery. Non-complicated, simple.
