Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, hops, and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderflowers, straw, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ pre TEODRBSG15 ] @ fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As WintherBargholz Hylde Humle ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, grass - leather - brett, citrus, flowers - elderflowers notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, brett, grass - leather, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150828]

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours hazy golden with a medium off white head. Aroma of light fruits, citrus, orange peel, grass and weeds. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter, with an orange peel hop coating palate. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, elderflowers and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Carbonation is a bit high. 280815

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit einer fingerbreiten weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, Pflanzen, gering Honig. Geschmack stark nach Pflanzen, leicht hopfig bitter, ungewöhnlich.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015. Bottle. Clear light orange color, average to medium sized off-white head. Very strong floral aroma, some kind of floral though I don’t know which. Is hylde some kind of flower in Danish? Taste also has the floral stuff in it, mixed with a slight touch of fruit and a decent bitterness. A bit fizzy carbonation. Ok beer.
