Old rating from 03-01-17 - On tap at the Mikkeller bar in Copenhagen, Denmark. Pours a amber brown colour with a off white head. Aromas of melon, toasted malts, tangerine, citric & a hint of ginger. Tastes of melon, orange pith, straw, toasted grains, light ginger, mandarin with light spice & caramel malt. Medium bodied, light carbonation. A above medium bitterness finish with a zing of ginger.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with lasting, tan head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange, apricot marmalade, caramel and flowers. Fruity, hoppy taste with orange, apricot marmalade, resin, caramel, a touch of rye bread and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. Lots of hops, but a bit metallic. Slightly hollow malt profile, mainly focused on resiny, metallic hops. Sharpish. Not brilliant, but quite enjoyable.

330mml. bottle, @home, 10/12/2020. Advent Calendar Day 10. [#3.672 Global - #236 Denmark - #60 Mikkeller] Clear amber colour with a medium and frothy off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee and dried fruits. Taste is intense malty, caramel, apricot and dried fruit. Slightly hoppy. Next one please!

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige fine persistente, colore ambrato torbido, al naso malto caramello frutta tropicale resina, in bocca caramello malto tostato pompelmo frutta tropicale, corpo rotondo, watery, lieve astringente, carbonatazione decisa, amaro accentuato, secca asciutta nel finale. Butelka 330ml (BB 13.02.2021). Karmelowe z ziołową goryczką, niezbyt wysoką ale wyraźną, długą, ciut ściągającą ale nie nudną. Mimo że nic więcej się tu nie dzieje to piwo jest bardzo dobre w swojej prostocie, gładkie i agresywne (goryczkowe) zarazem, bardzo dobry balans.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends (Stefansgade), Copenhagen. Clear caramel coloured with a modest, off-white head. Malty and quite fruit aroma with lightly herbal and spicy notes. Medium to moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Fairly pleasant.
