Our Zuur recipe infused with Sea Buckthorn, tiny and potent orange berries that grow by the coast. This has given our house sour a salty finish that mimics the traditional Gose style brews of old.

On tap at Både&. It's an unclear yellow colored beer with a small white head. Super-fruity-berry-ish aroma with little else escaping the glass. Some pale malts and rhubarb. It's medium bodied, dry and tart, with a pleasant carbonation. Fruity-sour flavor with lots of buckthorn and rhubarb. Light bready malts and a funky, barnyard, leather touch. Lasting fruity, sour finish. Delicious and one directional. 181018

Unclear, pale yellow colored, medium- white head, not that lasting. Aroma is a bit cheesy, some malt, salty, medium- lactic soury notes. Taste is light sweet malt, tartish notes, bit lemony, bit fruit, salty, again bit cheesy, medium+ lactic sourness, dry finish. Light bodied, average+ carbonation, watery. Tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. The last of the English kegs from December, heh. Hazy dull golden-yellow body, nice white head with medium retention. Nice aroma really, mixing that dusty lacticity with an underlying sweetish fruitiness. Nice lactic acidity taste-wise, but slightly too sour in the finish, which lasts, nice, well integrated but slightly too subtle fruitiness. Buckthorn is hardly something I've tried recently so no idea what it's like, but this is a nice, if sliiightly unbalanced sour.
