Lagered in a concrete "egg". Very weird, not sure what to make of it. Definitely has something muddy, concrety going around. Sweet, malty and thick base. with mud. Really strange stuff, quite unique, not sure I like it. Weird bonus.

Tap at Fakin. Hazy orange-copper appearance, off white head. Remarkable, quite moldy aroma, moldy barrel maybe, alcohol, raisins, soft and sweetish. Taste... the same moldy presence, alcohol, caramel, fennel, warming, slightly rough by drinkable. Unique but I expected much more.

Draft at the source. Hazy amber-gold, white head. Fruity and malty nose. Taste is dark fruits, candied sugar, oak? Interesting.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark copper with a sort of creamy white head. Aroma is somewhat spicy malt. Full bodied/smooth texture. Flavor is brown sugar with an elusive spicy note. It is far from dry, and bitter in an aged spicy way. Certainly not the usual barley wine. Quite a daunting sipper.

Taster at brewery. Murky amber pour, small silky head. Mellow malty aroma, molasses, sweet. Taste is also kind of subdued, I gues the stone really affects the end product. Malty and sweet, silky texture, latent heat with a small bitter bite come up at the back.
