Optisch orange bis bernsteinfarben mit einer zarten Trübung. Der weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaum ist langlebig. Im Duft zeigt sich dieses helle Ale leicht zitrusartig mit kräftigem Charakter von wilder Hefe. Keine Ahnung, ob gewollt oder ungewollt - es zeigt sich ein Brett-Charakter par excellence. Aromatisch irgendwo zwischen Pferdedecke und leichtem Ammoniak. Das sollte bei einem Blonde Ale aber nicht der Fall sein. Im Antrunk wirkt dieses Ale noch frisch, spritzig, jedoch relativ herb. Am Gaumen vernimmt man eine leichte Malzbasis - aber auch hier ein deutlicher Brett-Charakter. Grundsätzlich wäre das Süße-Säure-Spiel aber gut. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit will ich aber nicht bewerten. Im Nachtrunk bauen Malz- und Hefenoten langsam ab. Danach wird es kräftig herb. Mein Fazit: Ich gehe davon aus, dass sich die Flasche oder die Charge eine schöne Packung Brettanomyces eingefangen hat, die da schön am werken war. Die Fehlaromatik sowie die übermäßige Herbe würde absolut dafür sprechen. Es ist nicht untrinkbar, aber entspricht überhaupt nicht dem zu erwartenden Stil.

Tap at Czeska Basta in Warsaw-Poland. Unclear a bit Pelé golden pour with a medium white foam. Nose: US hops, tangerine, citrus, grass. Mouth leads to sweet tangerine with a balanced bitterness.

Draught @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Pours clear golden with a white head, lacings. Aroma of malt, light grass, light fruit. Flavor is light bitter, light malt, grass, light fruity hops. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, light bitter finish. 250722

Tap at Beergeek. Feels old and flawed. Very thin body, watery, but also metallic, oxidized. Moderate carbonation, hint of butter and caramel. This is a fail all around.

Bottled 660 ml. -at Illegal Beer Prague...RBESG 2109, day 5; shared with Marko. Last beer of the gathering, only the strongest survive...lol. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, cereals and yeast in the nose. Sweetish malty, cereals, light grainy and mild citrusy with pretty harsh hoppy notes in the finish.

Bottle at Illegal Beer - huge thanks Ogi! Hazy golden body, white head. Citric, lemony aroma. Lemon-lime taste, on light malt and light bitterness. Small, elegant earthy notes in the finish to make things interesting. Okay golden ale!

Draught @ Pivotečka, Pilsen. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and flower, with some notes of citrus and yeast. Intensely bitter flavour of hops and grass, with citric notes and touches of malt and yeast. Lingering, bitter aftertaste. Low-medium carbonation - could easily be higer for my taste. Not bad!

Bottle 0.66l. Slightly cloudy, pale gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, lemon, malt. FLAVOR- neutral to slightly sweet, lightly bitter, malty, yeast, lemon tones. Medium bodied.
Well drinkable, decent brew. Pleasant one.
