Das „Zünftige Wirtshausbier" führt uns zurück in die Zeit, in der Geselligkeit und Gedankenaustausch noch in den Wirtschaften gepflegt wurden. Vom Frühschoppen bis in die Abendstunden trafen sich dort die Bürger zur Brotzeit, dazu genoss man das aus dem Holzfass frisch gezapfte, schmackhafte „Zünftige Wirtshausbier".

500 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Crisp lemon notes, metallic hops, grass, hay and some bread. Dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bitter finish. Very good Helles.

Bottled - thanks Fil & crew! Golden body, white head. Strange aroma, herbal, alcohol, some soft grainy touches. Empty taste, soft and creamy, salty, herbal, somehow quite drinkable but the taste is fantastically neutral, not bad, just neutral. Hm.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Slightly doughy and strawy malty aroma with shy grassy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slightly strawy malty taste with shy grainy spots and a whiff of grassy hops far in the background; moderately sweet and restrained bitter finish with hints of metal. Mediocre Bavarian Export. 02.IV.14

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone und viel CO2. Geruch malzig, würzig, getreidig. Geschmack getreidig, malzig, minimal würzig.

Bottle. Golden haze, fine carbonation, white head. Light citric and grassy hophop on hay and white bread malt base, light fruityness, a hint salt, medium body, mellow mouthfeel, good aromatic hop finish. Pleasant.

Thanks to quack-duck for that bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts quite malty, strong, a bit moldy with some alcoholic notes. More and more spicy, mild sourish. Some hoppy dry notes in the background. Finish dominated by malty-spicy notes. Not bad!
