Thick, reddish tinted cream head over deep redbrown to black beer. Hops, fruity, and with a lot of ureum. Bit flowery too, and absolutely - the fresh light-green springtips from spruce or pine. Piney, ureum, dry hops/lupulin, rosehips, and a bitter chocolate finish with even a hint at Kirsch-cherry-chocolates. Medium bodied, good carbonation; slowly fading flavours. Taste is spectacular, pity about the ureum overdose in the nose.

330ml Bottle - Black with a foamy tan head.Pine, soap, blackberries and a hint of liquorice in the aroma. Blueberries, blackcurrant, soapy hops, pine and liquorice fudge can be detected in the hoppy and slightly sweet taste. Tasty and rather interesting.

Bottle Share at Ratebeer meet up, Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham Saturday 5th March 2016 Pours dark brown with a red hue, large frothy light tan head. This has a soft mouthfeel, but really citrussy, wonderfully twangy, fruity, it’s a cracker. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Tasting at Mr Smith’s Skyflat. Thanks to Dan. Hazy dark brown beer, bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Light and thin dark malts, some mild roast bitterness. Touch of dark chocolate. Good piney hops, medium bitter. Some dry bitter green hop dust. Modest marmalade. Light dry finish. Piney bitter linger. Decent.
