Cask ale, shared with Finn at Merchants 1688 in Lancaster. Bright nut brown body under a stable pearl white head. Rich lacing. Bread-like malts on the nose, hints of leafy hops. Mixed taste of stewed fruits, bread and caramel. Rounded ending, bittersweet. Satisfying. (06.02.2019).

Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken marmelade. Søt. Lett bitter avslutning.

Cask at the Wellington Arms. Orangeish brown with a decent show of white head. Scent of toast, roasted veg with a bit of vinegar. Odd. A straightforward bittersweet taste, turning a bit more bitter toward the finish. Refreshing but ordinary, and I’m not convinced it’s quite at its best. Still, it is perfectly drinkable.

Chelmsford Winter Fest. Clear amber beer. Zero carbonation. Light dry palate. Pronounced sweet floralness - could almost be a Gruit. Offset by pleasant orange hop which is additionally a little sour. Nicely flavoured beer!
