Handpump @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Dorata, viva, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note citriche, leggermente erbacee e terrose. In bocca è morbida, equilibrata, con un discreto spunto amaro. Corpo leggero, carbonazione soft. Molto buona.

Fluffy white head stayed on a hazy yellow body. Bitter pithy aroma. Medium to thin bodied, highly carbonated & clean. Tangy tastes with hops, citrus, zest, lemon & pith.

From backlog. 330ml can. Smooth, citrusy and grassy blonde with hints of earthiness and grainy maltiness. Decent, quite easy going.

Bottle shared during Scopey’s 5K tasting. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Lightly aged pale malt sugars come out, and are offset slightly by bitter hay, and augmented by ripening lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Just a little astringent on the finish, with some understated citrus notes and dry pale malts. OK.

Lightly hazy pale gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, crisp and semi dry. Very light pale malts. Little floralness. A mellow lemony citrus on the back end with lesser ripe orange. Light semi dry finish. It’s smooth and nicely joined up, just with it had a bit oooomph!

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and pale malt. Taste - lemon yoghurt and some grassiness. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a well executed example of the style.
