Bottle at home in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours lightly hazy, burnished gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some pleasantly juicy hop character, nice lemony aspects, some tangerine, pale and grainy bread, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with semi-ripe citrus fruits, a bit of pithy lemon and grapefruit, some bitter rind, grass and pine, understated pale malt balance. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely conditioned. Pretty well balanced on the finish with further well rounded, citrusy hops, moderate bitterness, nice drying pith, faintly resinous pine needles, pale bread. A well executed American pale ale.
