Tap at the brewery. Lemon, grainy, herbal. Not so exciting. Refreshing. Light sourness, but just not that exciting. I love Partizan, but this one's a miss for me.

Draft @ London Craft Beer Festival 2014. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity slightly sour lemon aroma. Fruity sour tart lemon flavor with weak yeasty hints. Has a fruity sour tart lemon finish.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Funky yeasty lemon aroma, indeed quite Lambic-ish, hints of old lemon, lemon zest, vinegar tartness. Taste is slightly sourish, vinegar and lemon juice tartness, Lambic-like. Seems to me to be an unintentional, happy by-product of infection.

Bottle at home in London - picked up from the brewery a few weeks back. Pours perfectly clear, light gold with a mild, foamy white head. Nice grassy aroma, reminiscent of a gueuze, with accents of lemon rind. Light-medium sweet flavor with pleasant tart lemon, some grassy bitterness, sour wheat, straw, touches of apricot. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Clean and refreshing on the finish with citric lemon bite, understated grassy bitterness, nice dryness, hints of pale wheat sugars, a bit of salty lemon rind, suggestions of tangerine. Whispers of acidity in the throat. My goodness, this is outstanding. Am I drinking the same beer as others? Did this beer just need a few extra weeks in the bottle? Regardless, I’m really enjoying this beverage.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Film of white head. Sweet grain. Some grassiness. Lots of lemon. Or more specifically, like a jar of preserved lemons. Taste is light tart, and dry, with a little sweetness on the lips. Zingy palate. Dry, light tart finish. Bit thin.

Bottle at home from the brewery, Light hazed, straw / golden coloured pour with a thin white head, some big bubbles. Aroma is odd, zesty lemon, cidery notes, some spice and clean belgian yeast. Like a Duvel yeast. Flavour is Sharp lemon, zesty, pinch of salt, crisp pils malt. Uber dry in the finish, poof and it’s gone off the tongue. Palate is light and uber dry in the finish. Lingering spicy citrus and touch of bready malts. Not Partizan’s finest beer, but pretty interesting nonetheless.
