Keg at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 05/12/15. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, straw, bitter orange, light bread, orange wine gums. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, melon, tangerine, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with juicy hop bitterness. Ok stuff.

Bottle from Gloucester Services, on the M5. This one is brewed at Wiper and True, rather than Ashley Down. Slightly Hazy amber colour with a tick white head. Fruity and citrus and grapefruit aroma with a spice and pine. Taste mid sweet with a light bitter finish. The body is thick.

Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy amber body with tiny yeast flecks floating around. Medium off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of candy, orange and pineapple. Flavour of toffee apple, orange, roasted malt and a slightly boozy finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. I like more bitterness in an IPA - this is a bit too sweet and malty.

Bottle [from trade with minutemat] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Slightly unclear orange color, average sized white head that diminishes quite quickly but leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, piney. Taste malts, hops, pine, slightly resin, fruity, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice!

Very hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Light malt with a little sweet cream. Light hops - ripe orange whisper of some Sorachi like lemon, Light dry finish. Not bad but the hops could be punchier.

330ml bottle from Great Grog. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Aromas are quite light, lime, mandarin, not much else. Taste brings a little maltiness, but only a faint tropical bitterness. Really not much going on here, more like a souped-up bitter than an IPA.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham. It pours dark amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is sweet pineapple, tangerine, persimmon, earth, pine and varnish. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, spice, varnish, pine, resin, roasted pineapple, nectarine and orange peel with a dry finish. Touch of alcohol in the background. Medium body and fine carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet, but very nice nonetheless.
