500ml bottle. Clear golden orange colour, short-lived bubbly head and aroma of tart apple, apple skins, woody vanilla, summer fruits, barnyard. Taste is bittersweet, fruity, apple, apple skins, earthy, woody, oak, barnyard, tannin. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tanic oaky finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, July 2013. Consumed at home Monday 26th August 2013 Pours gold, looks superb absolutely sparkling perfect clarity, medium carbonation. Aroma is fresh and also with soft gently stewing apples. Taste is on the sweeter side of Med/Dry (it is described as Med/Dry) but really nice. I haven’t had a Newtons cider for a little whileand often found them to begood but a bit challenging at times, this on the other hand would easily convert anyone more used to bigger brands as it the rough edgesare very much ironed away here. Sweet juicy apples, lacks a little crispnes and whilst there is some tartness and dryness around the gums, it could have been just a little drier for me. A7 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.6

500ml bottle from Ludlow Square Deli. Pours a clear Chardonnay colour, fruity, fairly juicy with good carbonation. Definitely emanates a woody orchard feel, super dry with a welcoming apple aroma as you tip the glass for another sip. Not bad at all.
