Blossom comes before fruit and beer is no different to the blooms on trees. This wonderful combination of New Zealand and American hops combine to bring a cornucopia of sweet tropical and citrus fruit flavours including pineapple and orange, which are balanced with a fresh green tinged finish.

Hops: Amarillo, Rakau, Motueka, Southern Cross, Nelson Sauvin

Bottle shared in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has some bready malts, a bit of orange, tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with pleasant melon, orange, more tangerine, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some nice juicy citrusy character, more pale and bready malts, low bitterness. Tasty stuff. Drinks well.

22nd April 2015
Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth with fine minerally carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts, modest cream. Hops are mild orange with modest hop spice. Mild floralness and traces of earth and grapefruit peel. Smooth finish. The hop profile is a biut underwhelming given the stellar hop lineup (Amarillo, Rakau, Motueka, Southern Cross, Nelson Sauvin) but it’s a good beer.
