Cask at St. George’s Tavern, Nicholson’s - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Crisp, biscuity malts in the nose, some straw, lemon pith. Light sweet flavor with bitter grain husk, damp hay, lemon rind, biscuits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. OK finish, more wet hay, grain, pale bread, crackers. So so overall.

Cask @ Old Wellington, Manchester. Nicholson’s Beer Festival. Clear gold with no head. Has a sticky sweet texture and taste with a berry fruitiness, but a light one so pleasant enough in the palate.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - faint orange and toffee. Quite elusive. Taste - big fresh oranges note. Mandarins. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - elusive nose but got a lot better.
