Handpull cask at the Aeronaut, Acton. Dark brown, opaque with a thin film of off-white head. Strong coffee dominates the heady aroma. Sour metallic taste, was expecting better. What a shame. Really ends badly.

Cask handpull at Aeronaut Acton. Cola colour dark brown black beer lasting tan head. Chilli porter bit too much chilli for me. Ok though. Some ok chocolate.

Cask gravity at the rake. Opaque black / brown coloured pour with no head to speak of. Aroma is nutty earth, burnt cocoa, berry, little tangy fruit, plum. Flavour is composed of dirt, earthy choc, woodland berry, little treacle note. Palate is medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Roasty choc in the finish.

Cask at Aeronaut. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, treacle and toast. The taste is bitter, rich roast, espresso coffee, earth, light acidity, burnt toast, mild pepper and dark chocolate with a smooth, sticky finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great condition as well. Well rounded and good flavour for this abv. Solid.
