Sample during the Pretend It’s Oregon: A De Garde Tasting Extravaganza on 07/27/2019. Hazy reddish-brown color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of cherry, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with a tart cherry character and flavors of oaky vanilla, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a cherry aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.

Lucky Bamboo bottle share. Pours a cloudy deep ruby with purple highlights and small bit of pink foam. Earthy cherry aromas permeate the nose, some light grass and creamy oak vanilla notes as well. Clean on the palate, wonderful carbonation. Smooth with the cherry flesh really coming out. Some lingering cherry skin and stone notes on the finish. Fantastic.
