A rich ruby red beer with a powerful hop flavour derived from 100% English hops, balanced beautifully by the malty, toffee sweetness of Northern malt.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Reddish copper with a thin cream head; aroma of hedgerow fruits; sweet fruity taste with some lightly spiced hops and a dry biscuity finish. OK.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Crystal clear amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth but has decent fine carbonation. Creamy malt sweetness with a vague chocolate vibe! Mild orange peel followed by floral bitterness. Whisper of bubblegum ester. Light semi dry finish. Comes together quite well without ever being anything but decent.
