Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 25/8/2015. Deep copper in colour with a lacy, off-white, head. A rich, malty, bitter with some brown sugar, bready malts, red berry fruits and a gentle finish. An easy drinking and pleasant strong bitter.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance -deep amber red with a lovely fawn head. Nose - burnt oranges and toffee. Taste - tangy toffee. Citrus on the end. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a nice finish but it doesn’t quite leave you refreshed. Overall - like a little more bitterness on my premium bitter but pretty good.
