Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks troubles. Dark brown with a beige head. Roasty aroma with lots of coffee beans, somewhat vegetal, and an olives touch. Sweetish-sourish flavor with roast, and lots of coffee beans, a bit vegetal. Medium-bodied.

Negra, muy abundante espuma cremosa. Aroma extraño, hay café pero también cierto olor a caucho. En boca mejora mucho, ahora claro sabor a café en un paso muy fácil con cuerpo ligero y escaso gas. Seca y amarga. Agradable.

Bottle shared at Leightons place. Many thanks to Colin for this one. Murky mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting grayish cream coloured pour. Aroma is dirty coffee bean, spicy Peper, veg, dirty grains, Flavour is composed of nutty grains, pine, thin mineral, chalky water profile. Little burnt toast roast in the finish. Palate is thin, chalky, moderate carbonation.

Bottle split at LKS, Can’t remember where I picked this oop - who gives a shit ... Wimpy vs Beer killed my love for Mayorships anyway, 03/08/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering. Nose carries a good coffee blast, dark malt, chocolate, toffee. Taste comprises cold coffee, less flavour than the nose alluded to, dark malt, cocoa powder, light spice. Thinnish mouthfeel, on the watery side. So so, looked and smelt good but then fell away badly at the business end.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has old coffee, slight roast, burnt toast. Light sweet flavor with bitter coffee grounds, faint cocoa, earth, leaves. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. A little watery on the finish, some further coffee grounds, earthy bitterness. Pretty basic.

Bottle at Leighton’s. It pours cloudy deep brown with a small light tan head. The nose is rich, sweet coffee grounds, toasty brown sugar, earth and toffee. The taste is smooth, coffee grounds, weak coffee, toasty, grainy, mild acidity add a touch of burnt astringency with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Aroma is alright, but taste I sooooo watery.
