Bottleshare at Leighton’s flat. Thanks to Leighton. Lightly hazy gold beer, big fluffy off white head. Palate is airy, dry and crisp. Mild seltzer. A slight milky sweetness in the thin malts. Bitter crispy floralness. Trace of citrus. A dry crisp finish, brings more floral bitterness. Okay.

Bottle shared at the ’Beers of London’ Tasting MkII, Bespin Cloud City - Hyde Park zone, thanks to our host with the most - LKS 11/02/15. Almost clear golden blonde with a solid off white head dress of bubbles. Nose is light soap, citric rind, straw, lemon, light spice, apricot. Taste comprises lemon tang, earthy notes, straw, grassy, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Basic saison but drinkable.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear gold with a thick fluffy white head. The nose is soft, doughy, fruity, juicy orange, brioche and light spice. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, spicy, orange rind, alka seltzer and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Nice aroma, but the taste is a touch watery.

Bottle shared at Leightons pad. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. Hazed yellow, hazed / straw coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is lemon, straw, staling, doughy bready malts, light saison yeast character on the nose. Flavour is doughy wheaty cereal, light staling, spicy veg, pepper, lemon. Not sure why is this winter. Palate is a spritz carbonation, airy, doughy malts. Meh.

Bottle shared at the Gardens - picked up the Lab. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a large, fluffy white head. The aroma has some pale bread, oily lemon, faint pine needles, pale grain. Light sweet flavor with lightly doughy white bread, faint bitter straw, light yeast, wheat. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish with further pale bread, mild yeast expression, dried lemon rind. Not bad.
