50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A gushing pour leaving a half glass of bright, pale amber beer, and a half glass of soapy suds; the aroma has some bitter orange and pine and is rather off putting; the taste is very hoppy - oily & resinous - with some spice and orange juice; then the finish is very dry. Overall a very unwelcoming IPA.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with huge, foamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of mandarine and orange, cautious smoky overtones. Taste is bone-dry, bitter hoppy, piney and slightly citrusy fruity, notes of orange and mandarine, spicy hints of rye, a minimally smoky touch; way overcarbonated.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [260616]
Amber, slight haze, frothy white head
Aroma of fruits, slight cheesy, bit floral, odd nose, some hay, not great
Taste of citrus zest hops, piney hops, some burnt orange, damp hay, very hoppy but very rough as well
Palate - Medium carb and body, very bitter zest hops. Finish is dry, very bitter, rough, astringent
Overall - Rough hewn and clumsy. May revisit this but this bottle wasn’t good

Bottleshare at Leighton’s flat. Thanks to Rocket Rudkin for this one. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and crisp and semi dry. Light sweet pale malts. Modest floralness in the mid. Hops are pine, mild citrus and a little pith. Light finish. Not bad.

Bottle from McHughs. Cloudy orange with a fuzzy head. Aroma is light bitter. Flavour jumps straight to bitter hop, cloudy and dusty bread in the background, very long bitter finish, dry on the lips.
