Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 13/12/2013. Deep, ruddy brown with a decent, off-white head. Malty and on the sweet side, with plenty of fruit, a hint of roast and moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask handpull at White Cliffs BF 2012. What I would call a winter warmer. Rich malt some biscuit some bitter hops on end touch of black pepper. Right to the style. And I do like this.

Cask @ Akkurat. Chocolate, caramel, coffee and raisin notes. A touch of clove in the aftertaste. Surprisingly enough, quite vinous. Very smooth. Highly drinkable.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 14 Jan 2012) Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, toasty nose with dark bread, raisins, caramel and toast. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, dark bread, dried fruit and toast. Medium body, with balanced sweetness and a gentle bitterness. Well balanced, tasty and quite enjoyable.
