Bottle shared at the Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Herts tick. Picked up from the brewery. Clear amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is sweet nutty malts, berry, satrawberry. Flavour is composed of nutty, sweet berry touch of lavender. Palate is mellow, easy going, semi-sweet. Decent fruit esters.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours clear amber with an off-white cream topping. OK stuff, some grainy bread, ripening berries - classic bitter stuff. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further ripe berries, some leafy hops - of course! - and more grainy and lightly toasted bread. Bog standard bitter here, folks. Serviceable.

24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at the Cotteridge Wine meet. Poured a good looking amber, on top a white to off-white covering. Nice blend of malts and hops in both the aroma and taste with a good balance between them. Semi-sweet yet a mild citrusy bitter finish ends each sip.
