Can shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Thanks to Fergus! Pours hazy amber with a tight, creamy khaki head. The nose holds lightly tangy fruits, citrus and bread. Moderately sweet with more bready malts, light caramel. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet bready malt finish with low bitterness and further expressions of fruit. OK as far as Icelandic-English strong ales go.

Can shared at the Cotteridge Bash, 24/01/15 thanks to Fergus. Murky orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangy dark fruit rinds, apricot, spice, bitter orange, perfume. Taste comprises musty notes, earthy, spice, dark fruits, malt base. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great.

Can at the Cotteridge Convention thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy deep amber with a massive off-white head. The nose is smooth, brown bread, toasty grain and cereal. The taste is bitter-sweet, earth, brown bread, mild sweetness, cereal, toast and a touch of booze with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Fairly uneventful, but not bad.

24th Jan 2015: Can, shared at the Cotteridge Wine meet. Poured a hazy, red copper with an off white head. Fairly sweet malty nose with those molasses carrying on into the taste. Not a lot going on really, some berry notes within the caramel sweetness but overall uninteresting for me.

Can at work thanks to Colleague for bringing it over from Iceland. Aroma is sweet berry, caramel, slight toast, raisin. A litttle but of earth on the nose. Reddy amber in colour with a frothy creamy foam. Flavour is sweet plum, raisin, grainy, wheat, little toasted malts, little tang in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, moderate to low carbonation, little grainy on the tongue. Ok.
