Pint on tap at The Garrick Bar, Belfast. Clear golden with a dense, lasting, white head. Slightly fruity and hoppy, but mostly the mild grainy aroma. Moderate to medium sweet with mild grainy flavours and a rather light bitterness. Close to the usual industrial pale lager, far from impressive, but drinkable.

Bottle at home. Leaps better than harp lager but nothing out of the ordinary. Avoids tinny flavour which is nice.

Bottle: Deep golden, clear, small, lasting white head; mild malty nose with a slight bready/toasty touch and a delicate citrussy background; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, unfortunately very light bodied, almost watery; lingering malty and lemony finish. Not bad, just way too thin...
