Bottle from Tesco and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting white head. It’s got a little GK house character. Some vague hop. Some bitterness. It’s ok if not that exciting. Bit of harsh bitterness. Apparently it’s got American hops and I suppose the hops are better than they are in most GK beers. OK.

500ml bottle from a supermarket - not sure which one - Amber body, thin frothy head. Looks inviting enough. Nose is very nondescript, bit of caramel, bit of malt. Taste is sweet and fresh, but lacking in any real character. Bit of a bitter finish, lasts a bit too. But nothing spectacular.

Keg at the Prince Regent, Cambridge. Another keg beer from GK. Pale yellow with an ice cream cone head. Tight, white and not quite right. Aroma is a bit more enticing. Floral grassy hop with a hint of canned fruit. The taste unfortunately leaves quite a lot to be desired: butter, inedible plant, wet dog. Short finish. Not the worst beer I’ve had but there’s no good excuse for Greene King putting this out.

Bottle from Tesco. Golden colour with white head. Aroma has tropical fruit. The taste has the same. Nothing spectacular but a good solid beer.

Bottle from Tesco; clear golden amber pour with a frothy beige head, crisp lemon aroma, taste has straw, lemon, pale malts, not massively flavoursome, but quite crisp.

Clear 500ml bottle from a local Tesco store: opened and drank at home on 18th Nov 2014. Golden amber body, thin white topping. Mild citrus and exotic fruit type nose and taste. If you like golden citrus flavoured beers then this might be for you: I am getting a little bored with them. Nothing wrong with this and it is a decent ’supermarket beer’, just not my thing.
