Strong amber beer with smooth well balanced fruity flavours. Brewed with Celeia Hops giving it spicy and citrusy notes perfect for the Christmas party season!

Cask at Brewhouse, Poole. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, light fruits and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the brewery tap, the Griffin, Frome 6/12/08. Pale amber with no head. Sweet, barley sugar aroma, with some red fruit and grassy hops. Flavour was very sweet, with a hint of marmalade and short dry finish. Alcohol in the 2008 version is pretty well hidden. Ok.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2007. Slight haze, copper colour, thin off white head. Slightly crude alcohol, syrupy. No huge aroma. Some toffeeish citrus at a push. Citrus earthiness on end. Alcohol heat. Quite sharp on finish. Not my favourite.
