Okay, not named after a mountain but this classic IPA is very much part of our core range of beers. Tudor IPA is light in colour, with a sharp, hoppy,
grapefruit finish.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden amber, generous slightly off white head. Nose - earthy, grainy, maltbag. Taste - more grain, perhaps a bit of dried orange or even plum. Some brown bread. Palate - creamy and bitter. Light to medium bodied. Overall - requires effort put in, to get enjoyment out.

Bottle at the IP2 bottle share, from The Breacon Tap, Brecon. Pours hazy gold with a small white head and visibly gassy. Aroma of hop, caramel, fruit and floral notes. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, highly carbonated. Rather spolied by the fizziness.

500ml bottle conditioned: BBE Jan 2018. Poured into a Gwaun Valley Brewery badged pint sleeve glass to make it feel at home on 30th June 2017. Light amber pour, mini-haze to the body, off-white uneven blanket of foam for a head. Nose has a slight citrusy/grapefruity aroma, taste is citrus hops all the way. Grapefruit flavours dominate the brew from start to finish. Dry and hoppy, it’s OK.

500ml bottle from Newport Food Festival drunk at home. Aroma is basically a crisp, frosty autumn morning. I know that sounds a bit queer, but it is. Has a haunting bitterness that follows you round your palette, soft hops and quaffable character. I’ve never used the word ’quaffable’ before, and not really sure I’ll use it again. Nice beer tho.
