Bottle share at Mr Smith’s Stratoflat. Thanks to Leighton. Almost opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Palate is airy with decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, tangy with a touch of thin cream. Light piney hops. Mild hop skunk and citrus. A trace of malt roast in the light semi dry finish. Decent.

Bottle split at the Bespin cloud network, thanks to the host with the most, LKS, 03/09/15. Light black with a decent tan covering that retains well. Nose is light plastic, charr, cocoa rub, earthy tones, light smoke, dark berry fruit. Taste comprises pine, dark malt, hint of liquorice, spice, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok CDA.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours dark near black with a decent tan head. The nose is toasty, charred wood, orange sherbet, earthy, cocoa, toasty grass and decent roast. The taste is smooth, toasty, coffee, espresso, cocoa, pepper, orange rind and a touch of dark fruit with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Decent.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at the Lab. Pours rich brown with a thick, creamy beige head. The nose has well roasted malts, cocoa, toasted pine, grass. Light sweet flavor with burnt wood, minerals, dry cocoa, roast, earth. Medium bodied with average, lively carbonation. Dry and roasty on the finish with some flinty minerals, burnt pine, orange rind. Pretty good stuff overall.
