Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy dark amber with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee, almond, faint boozy note, almost apples. Taste is boozy, green apples. Hot, sweet finish. Bottle or released too soon mebbe?

Bottle. Appearance - murky amber brown with a head which disappears quite quickly. Nose - toffee/almond/marzipan. Taste - green apple booze thing, which I’m not sure I’m totally enjoying. Something acid aldehyde. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy/boozy middle section and the finish is similar. Overall - bottled or released too early perhaps. Has issues.

Bottle split at LKS Heights, thanks to Danny, 03/08/15. Rich copper with a decent beige covering that soon collapses. Nose is caramel, toffee, vanilla, bread pudding. Taste comprises rich fruit cake, raisens, dates, spice, toffee. Medium + body, fine carbonation, sweetish licks in the close. Decent strong, masks the ABV well.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s Stratoflat. Thanks to Dan or this English rarity. Almost clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with modest fine carbonation. Malts are surprisingly thin and bring modest caramel. Tangy dried fruits - fairly intense. Little alcohol warmth. Some esters, Light finish. Decent.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Daniel. Pours clear gold with a creamy head. Interesting aroma, some prune, berries, bread, cinnamon. Medium sweet flavor with rich, syrupy berries, dates, forest berries, orange peel. Medium bodied, a little oily and chewy, with fine carbonation.
