Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie on 20th Feb 2018; 330ml bottle from Simon, cheers mate. Wispy white head, misty golden/amber body. Dank hops ruled the nose and taste for me, light citrus leanings alongside some mild malty sweetness, but overall it's those dank hops that dominate the flavours and beer throughout.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 18, courtesy of Simon. Pours a misty amber, small off-white head. Marmalade aroma. Taste has a similar pithy bitter fruity character, thin, bitter, drying, bit dirty tasting, metallic. Not great.

I was told that the brewer himself brought this in to my local bottle shop and according to the beer’s availability on the site, it can only be found in Crossville TN and Scotland, England and Wales. I am proud to be the first US rater of this beer. Bottle best before 02SEPT2018. Pours dark for an IPA, Clear deep amber with a generous, rocky, mostly white head. The aroma is toasty, nutty toffee and caramel with just a hint of floral hops. The flavor is lightly bitter with a dry finish. Not a hoppy US IPA, more British by style. Decent for the style. Recommended for non hop heads.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - dark amber to brown with a nice fluffy head. Nose - citrus and tropical notes. Taste - grapefruit and mango. Tonnes of resin. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a bit more resin than I prefer but actually a tasty beer.
