Tasting at Mr Smith’s Skyflat. Thanks to Dan. Hazy gold - amber beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Dry pale malts. Very light citrus. Light floral bitterness. Light bitterish finish. Fine.

Bottle thanks to Danny. It pours hazy orange / copper with a small, bubbly white head. The nose is earthy, toasted grain, cereal, honey, apricot and rustic farmhouse bread. The taste is bitter, toasted grain, cereal, straw, light spice and earth with lingering dry, grainy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit, toasty and grainy. Not horrific, just pretty so-so.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Daniel. Pours clear orange with a frothy white head. The nose has dry bread, flinty minerals, dirty hay. Light sweet flavor with a dry ashy off note, pine needles, bread crust, citrus peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Abrasive finish, grassy and ashy, some earth, more crust, pine needles. A sub-par offering.
