Tap @ Drugie DNO, Warsaw May 2018. Unclear dark brown with a small tan head. Nice aroma, dark malt, toast, caramel, dry fruit,acidic berries, wood and a bit funky, vinous. Flavor is like aroma, rich dark malt, caramel, toast, dry fruit, acid, funk and wood. Fine balance, balanced body and long lasting, acidic aftertaste. Quite vinous in a way, very nice.

Draught@CBC2016. Coppery black colour with a small but longlasting beige head. Aroma is dried fruits, plum, some caramel, alcohol, some vanilla and wooden tones. Flavour has some bourbon sweetness, vanilla, some plum and mild dried fruits, some alcohol and a bit of tartness to it as well. Very smooth to drink.

Tap. Pours clear dark reddish brown with a small offwhite fizzy head. Aromas of caramel, bourbon, vanilla, dark fruits, toffee, balsamico, vinegar, cherries. Taste is vinegary, balsamico, cherries, raspberries, vanilla, fudge, chocolate, malt, caramel. Damn this is well made!

650ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brown colour with small, frothy, fading, beige head. Funky, tangy, and fruity, slightly vinous aroma, notes of morello, blue grapes, black currant, red wine, dark malty background with hints of caramel and toffee, vanilla, oak, some leather. Taste is dry, tart, fruity, minimally funky, notes of morello, blue grapes, bramble, black currant, red wine, dark malty background with minmally sweet hints of dark chocolate and toffee, dry oaky overtones, a touch of vanilla. Too sour and astringent in the inaugural partition.

Bottle shared by a friend. (I would never trade for or buy this). Aroma is sour and tart with some vinegar, old oak. Taste is somewhat sour, notes of vinegar, and old dirty socks. Sour grapes, syrupy mouthfeel. Very sour oak. I just really hate this style.

Brown color. Sourish aroma, red grape vinegar, barrel, a little bourbon. Taste: sweet and sour, red homemade wine, caramel and dried fruits, oak and bourbon, nice.

Sampled from bottle at Maakun’s. Big thanks to svartvit. Dark brown near black. Almost no head. Big balsamic sour. Grapes, grape stones. Sour cherries. Big sour. Nicense.
