Bottle shared in London - picked up at the Lab. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has lightly dusty chocolate, light roast, some dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with nicely rounded cocoa, dried dark fruits, raisin, plum, light bitter earth. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Modest sweetness to finish, more cocoa, dark fruits, brownies, scorched earth, faint oily charred pine. Quite nice overall.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours jet black with massive tan head. The taste is bitter - sweet, cheap chocolate, dark fruits, tangy berry, earth and jammy sugars. The taste is earthy roast, bitter-sweet, quite dry, sweet, milk chocolate, charred, mild acidity, jammy berry, fruit compote and dirt with a dry finish. Medium body and high carbonation. A bit sweet and rough around the edges. Meh.
