Mother Kellys. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and has decent fine carbonation. Slightly viscous pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Mild floralness turning sweeter. Very mild ripe citrus. Light finish shows a little wheaty malt. It’s fine. But surely there must be better beers to haul over from Down Under?

Keg from The Hanging Bat. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of lime, bitter lemon and chalky grain. Flavour of minerals, shower gel and orange flavoured sweets. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Doesn’t quite come together for me.

(Bottle) Clear golden with slight white head. Pleasant and interesting aroma - notes of spice and funk with hints of citrus. Lovely palate - medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Great taste, and unusual - spice and pepper over sweet light maltiness. Refreshing, interesting and very drinkable.

On tap at The Local Taphouse. Pours golden. Citric soapy nose, but quite rich. The aroma also finds itself in the taste, which is enriched by sweet malts and fruity hops. A bit odd at first, but the longer the better.

Pours hazy gold with a large head.Nose shows heavy coriander and a fair bit of citrus peel too. Underneath is doughy wheat. Almost floral.Very similar flavours, more of the same except with a bit of booze and an assertive bitterness.Too much carbonation, but that’s a small fault.

Growler, this year’s version is 7.5%ABV. Cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of banana, vanilla, coriander, lemony herbs (presumably lemon myrtle). Taste is quite sweet with _lots_ of coriander and a lemon myrtle pepperiness in a drying finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Spices linger for ages. A little lemony sourness would have made it even better. Very dangerous beer on a warm evening.

Bottle thanks to daveA330. Pours with a hazy white-yellow hued body with a white head that slowly fades. Aromas of lemongrass, pepper, pine, windex, tropical fruit, perfume, florals, esters and orange blossom. Flavors of vanilla, a bready malt profile, floral, rose water, orange. Very flowery. Medium bubbles, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, finishes decently dry. A tasty and somewhat different wit.
