Forager is a taste sensation packed full of juicy hedgerow berries and bursting with flavour. Hidden gems of autumn hedgerows are paired with crisp Kentish apple cider. Not overly sweet with rich fruity character and notes of ripe pear to finish. Fruit cider just got an upgrade.

Bottle I think from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - deep red and clear. Nose - berries and fresh green apples. Taste - green apples and sweet berries. Palate - light bodied, a wee bit too sweet but expected. Overall - OK.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Dark bluish purple, clear. Only the lightest suggestion of berry in the aroma. The taste, too. Sweet but not very fruity and a little synthetic. Light body and very carbonated. Just very little to this.

330ml can from Fram Ferment, Durham. Bright deep red colour, fizzy pink foam head that rapidly dissipates away and aroma of berry fruits, herbal undernote. Taste is sweetish, berry, apple, slightly tart, alittle pear, with a slight woody hedgerow hint. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium dry finish. Quite OK

Bag in a box at The Just Reproach, Deal, 02/06/18. Deep red colour with little in the way of a head. Nose is apple and blackcurrant squash, grains, dusty berries, hay. Taste comprises light apple skin, hedgerow berry, grass, berry pips. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. So so ... too much berry fruit and not enough apple for me.

Appearance- dark ruby red, no head, a little bit cloudy. Aroma- apple, hint of ammonia, blackberry, blueberry, dessert wine. Taste- summer pudding, apple crumble, raspberry, blackberry, grassy hints. No carbonation, plenty of sweetness. Nice and refreshing.
