Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 4th March 2017. Deep amber with shallow, decayoff-white film and scant lacing. Intense roasty malt aroma with smoked meat notes. Rich and intense smokiness in-mouth with tangy citrus notes. A solid, logfire and doled meat finish. Perversely exquisite. Plenty of body and a full-on mouthfeel.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Dark clear copper coloured with a creamy head. Better smoked in its nose, than taste, but it’s evident in both. There’s a small bitterness to it in its aftertaste.
