Level 42 botteshare. Thanks to Scopey. Hazy dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, Mildly tart dried fruits.. Dry finish. As with so many sour dark beers - nothing special.

Bottle shared in CW - thanks to Scopey. Mild gusher. Pours mostly clear deep brown with a creamy, can head. Good funk in the nose, some blackberry, raisins, earth. Lightly sweet with more earthy bitterness, light char, toffee, faint baking cocoa, light acidity, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly tangy on the finish, more lemony notes, charred malt, scorched earth. Not bad.

Bottle at level 42. Gusher. It pours near black with a big tan head. The aroma is toast, earthy roast, cocoa nibs, ash and dull smoke. The taste is earthy, charred wood, ashy, funk, mild sourness, apice, touch of plastic, juniper, end berry skin and some acidity. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite different from the other two. Not bad.
