Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności do 30.09.2016 temperatura degustacji 12-14 stopni +, szkło teku. Aromat: główną rolę gra czekolada, odrobina kawy, ciemne pieczywo i charakterystyczna nuta prażonego słonecznika, delikatnie przebijają się owoce tropikalne, niestety charakterystycznych nut ani mosaic ani sorachi nie wyczuwam. Barwa ciemno brunatne, prawie czarne, nie przejrzyste. Piana: obfita, beżowa, drobno pęcherzykowa z kremową czapą, trwała, delikatnie zdobi szkło. Smak: kawa, paloność, i przyjemna goryczka z popiołowym finiszem. Niezwykle pijalne, gładkie, wysycenie średnie do niskiego. Trochę za mało jest tropików ale w dalszym ciągu to dobre, pijalne piwo bez wad sensorycznych i ładnie się prezentuje w szkle.

Bottleshare at Lancaster Gate. Lightly hazy amber - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Soft palate, semi dry with modest fine carbonation. Soft earthy dark malts, some cream. Mild earthy bitterness. Trace of piney hops. Well buried fruits. Semi dry earthy finish. Could be a lot hoppier.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 09/05/2016. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. Semi clear, reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a thin light tan head. Aroma is dry brown bready, toasted, earthy pine, dry musty. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty toasted malts, pine hop, toast, hint of choc roast. Palate is semi sweet, airy, lingering semi choc roast.

Bottle care of Kenny. It pours dark brown with a small small off-white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roast, chocolate, charred wood, tar, mango chutney and marmalade. The taste is bitter, decent roasted malt, cocoa, orange peel, soda water, wood, burnt toast with a dry, damp earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Aroma is ok, taste is a bit more taste is.

Bottle shared in W2 - thanks to Kenneth. Pours clear brown with a slight, frothy tan head. Light toasty malts in the nose, faint peanut butter, cocoa. Light sweet flavor with earthy bitterness, toast, mild baking cocoa, dried berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with light resin, more earth, cocoa, burnt toast. Not bad.
