Our Belgian Strong Ale aged in oak barrels and fermented with our native New England yeast culture. Appearance is opaque reddish-brown with mahogany lining and fast fading off-tan head. Wild Sinister Kid emits aromatics of dark fruit, tart berries, leather, and vanilla. This dark, funky strong ale displays complex flavors of sour cherry, toffee, fig, dates, and molasses; finishes dry with light to medium body.

Bottleshare at Lancaster Gate. Thanks to Leighton. Clear reddish amber beer, thin bubbly pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts. Flemish red fruity winey tang nicely offset by good oaky sweetness, touch of vanilla. Mild spice. Light semi dry finish. Nicely joined up and very tasty. Hides the abv well.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 09/05/2016. Huge thanks to Leighton for this one. A reddy brown coloured pour with a a medium tan plummy head. Aroma is musty sock drawer, sweet brown nutty malts, tart plummy fruits. Hints of mouldy wood in the nose. Flavour is composed sweet sweet vanilla, oak, musty sour, mint, dried fruits, sweet. Palate is medium sweet, medium bodied, semi dry, moderate carbonation. Decent barrel character.

Bottle at Bespin, big thanks to Lando, 09/05/16. Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige head. Nose is caramel, light varnish, wooded, dates, steeped prunes, tangy dark fruit esters, nutty, worn knickers. Taste comprises earthy red berry funk, spice, treacle toffee, fruit cake, candied fruit peel, earthy fruit, light spice, black cherry skins. Medium bodied, fine carboantion, semi drying close with a puckering conclusion and a light hop undertone. Solid.

Bottle shared in W2 - picked up at the brewery. Pours clear, ruby-brown with a creamy, tan head. Tart and jammy berries in the nose, some toasted wood, cherry. Medium sweet flavor with more ripe and juicy berrie, low acidity, old and damp wood, light booze, earth, leather. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Lightly acidic on the finish, with more plump berries, plum, earth, leathery fruits, light warmth. Solid.

Bottle big thanks to Leighton. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet - sour, dried cranberry, dried red grape, currant vanilla, oak, toffee, toasted coconut and a touch of creaminess. The taste is sweet - sour, vinous, red grape skin, jammy berry, some acidity, oak, vanilla and damp wood with a dry, tan finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty alright.

Bottle. Pours dark brown tan head. Nose/taste of oak, sour earth, dark cherry, grape and chocolate - medium body.

Pours deep mahogany-tinged brown into a snifter. Mocha head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Pit fruit, vanilla and oak aromas. Sweet caramel and marshmallow upfront turning to grape, oak and bourbon in the medium length finish.
