Available May 2018 - Copper-coloured ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavour is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate.

Cask at the Monk’s Retreat, Reading. Amber with a loose beige head and a light fizz. Pleasantly fruity up front. Bitter and dry finish with some herbal and mineral notes. Little bit of caramel behind. Not a bad bitter actually. Somehow quite northern in character, reminds me of Tim Taylor Landlord.

Cask @ Linen Hall, Enniskillen [020516]
Dark amber, clear, dense white head
Aroma of soft tangy fruity malt
Taste of tangy fruits, soft caramel malts
Palate - Medium body, smooth, bit sticky. Finish is astringent, lingering bitter paracetamol, awful finish
Overall - Spoilt by the rough finish.

On cask at the Haymarket Bar. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - caramel and light citrus. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - ok but not as refreshing as the style usually produces.

Cask @ Head Of Steam, Durham. Golden with a thin head. Well balanced session IPA with some malts evident but a slightly more stated fruitiness.
